Inconceivable Theatre’s outreach program seeks to build bridges from the past to the present, from the page to the
stage and from the written word to the waiting ear. Using the power of the spoken word, our reader’s theatre format
will engage and entertain the audience with both the sound of the stories as well as their content. We hope to offer
fresh insight for those familiar with these classics and spur newcomers to read the original.
Our format travels easily and works well in intimate to medium sized venues for a wide range of audience types and
ages and offers flexibility in fitting the ideal program length of your event. We utilize the skills of fully rehearsed,
professional actors who bring great experience and immediacy to their work. We also offer the option of an actor talk-
back and post-performance discussion in an open question and answer format.
Our website features dramaturgical content about the themes explored in the stories, information about the authors,
and downloadable study guides for students to assist teachers in their planning.
We hope that you will contact our outreach coordinator (outreach@inconceivabletheatre.org) with any questions
about our program and to request a quote for your organization.
Inconceivable Theatre is pleased to offer an outreach program featuring theatrical readings for audiences of all ages.

The Wilde Tales
Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus
On a rainy summer night in 1816, four friends and
fellow artists challenged each other to compose an
original ghost story. What emerged from then 19
year-old Mary Shelley was a classic - the tale of a man
who dared to challenge the bounds of life and death
and reaped the consequences of his pride.
Join Inconceivable Theatre in an exploration of the
consequences of man's unrestrained thirst for
knowledge.
Running time: 90 minutes (With a 10 minute
